Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of cues in learning Dive Roll by children with DCD and typical development, (GDTD, n=6), (GDTS, n=8), (TDCD, n=8), (TDCS, n=2). Children were evaluated in three moments: PRÉ, PÓS, RET, throug a performance evaluation checklist. The cues used were: “push the ground”, “hold your hands out as far as you can” and “chin on your chest”. The results did not demonstrate significant difference among the groups, but the difference between PRÉ and PÓS, and a difference between PÓS and RET (p=0,02). It may be concluded that the cues were not specific enough to generate significant modifications in the learning of DR, due to the pattern of movement presented by the children and the complexity level of the task.
