Risks of beauty and desire of an arquitected body

Abstract

This work intend to understand risk in the process of construction of the beautiful, perfect and desired body. This desire of constructing the perfect and strong body is not new for humanity, but the technologies involved in this process are. All kinds of techniques are used for this architecture. Many of them provide a number of risks, from the possibility of not changing at all until death. This reflections are made necessary in Physical Education area, where the professionals work every day with people and their body. How is it possible
that people take so much a risk to be beautiful? How does the risk influence the decision of constructing the perfect body? Which are the relations between technologies and body?
